SideQuest Fest - an all-day party of grassroots goodness

After our recent catch-up with Jacko Hooper, who keeps the cogs turning over at Brighton’s favourite ambient utopia  ‘The Folklore Rooms’, we’ve since encountered their rich offering of back-to-back shows ranging from their highly-anticipated ‘Folklore Sessions‘ to day festivals like SideQuest Fest. 

Kicking off at 3pm on September 12th, Ari has curated an overflowing concoction of the most exciting acts from Brighton and beyond – all under one candle-lit roof. Supporting the essential work of  The Music Venue Trust, the likes of Carne, Room Service and Watching Alice will take the stage and cater for a wide audience of funk fans, the grunge-obsessed and dream-pop lovers. 

Extracting from a line-up of non-stop quality, we’re excited to see COWZ making an appearance – with their high-octane electronica and hyper-pop. Blurring genre boundaries, the two-piece have recently released their single ‘La La Like You’, carrying the flame on a growing discography, landing them at the iconic UK festival Truck, and securing radio airplay with the likes of Radio X.

SideQuest already have a string of unmissable events under their belts, and are quickly becoming a crucial asset to Brighton’s ever-growing grassroots community – SideQuest Fest is a living testement to that.
